To be a more effective learning experience, participants are requested to bring their personal equipment during the workshop. Minimum system requirements are as follows:

• Provide knowledge of open and laparoscopic treatment for ventral and inguinal hernia repair
• Learn how to choose and use different prosthetic materials
• Focus on different surgical techniques for hernia repair

At the completion of the course, participants will be familiar with the various video formats and file types from AVI to MPEG to MXF and be able to import them to a preferred editing software. Add sounds and music, labels, simultaneous picture-in-picture clips to your videos. Furthermore, you will be able to acquire digital images from most common sources, manipulate video material into a respectable and presentable multi-media product.
