12th International Abdominal Wall Surgery Workshop:
from open to single port surgery
 

18 - 19 April 2011 and 05 - 06 September 2010

Course Objective

This is a two-day programme offering a comprehensive overview on the multidisciplinary management of abdominal wall surgery. We will focus on both open and laparoscopic surgery for Hernia Repair and discuss the most recent advances in surgical treatment, both open and laparascopic.

Aims:

  • Provide knowledge of open and laparoscopic treatment for ventral and inguinal hernia repair
  • Learn how to choose and use different prosthetic materials
  • Focus on different surgical techniques for hernia repair
  • Learn about new biological measures

  • Advanced surgical trainees and practicing surgeons
  • Healthcare professionals who want to update their knowledge and skills in abdominal wall hernia repair
