25 -26 August 2008

Course Description

This is a two-day programme offering a comprehensive overview on the multidisciplinary management of hernia patients. We will focus on both open and laparoscopic surgery for Hernia Repair and discuss the most recent advances of medical and surgical treatment. Today, different approaches are available, from suture repair in different fashion to tension-free repair, and from laparoscopic to preperitoneal repair, all these with good surgical outcome in terms of recurrence, chronic pain and cost.
